Kristen Kane and Dr. Matthew Brice were united in marriage on May 25, 2012, at St. Adalbert's Church, Glen Lyon, by the Rev. Anthony J. Generose.


The bride is the daughter of Albert and Cynthia Canterini-Kane, Duryea. She is the granddaughter of the late Albert and Anne Kane, Scranton, and the late Bernard and Genevieve Lemek-Canterini, Plains Township.


The groom is the son of Edward Brice and the late Carole A. Brice, Glen Lyon. He is the grandson of Ann Paczkowski and the late Leonard Paczkowski, Glen Lyon, and the late Joseph and Rita Brice, Wilkes-Barre.


Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Erin Kane, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Keri and Laurie Kane, sisters of the bride; Marla Chepanonis, cousin of the bride; and Stacy Pisano and Jewel Sulkoski, friends of the bride.


Timothy Brice, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Albert Kane, brother of the bride, and Christopher Criscera, Anthony Furiato, Patrick Kwiatkowski and Harry Hannebach, friends of the groom.


The flower girl was Molly Kwiatkowski and the ring bearer was Colton Brice, nephew of the groom. Scriptural readings were given by Leonard Paczkowski Jr., uncle of the groom, and Lynette Paczkowski, cousin of the groom.


An evening cocktail hour and dinner reception were held at Colarusso's LaPalazzo, Moosic. The bride was honored at a shower given by her mother and attendants at Amadeo's, Moosic. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by Janet and Todd Bodine, aunt and uncle of the groom, at Vino Dolce, Hanover.


The bride is a 2004 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a 2008 graduate of Luzerne County Community College, where she earned her degree in dental hygiene.


The groom is a 2004 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from King's College in 2008. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from LECOM, Bradenton, Fla., in 2012. He is serving as a captain in the United States Army Medical Corps, where he is engaged in residency training in radiology.
