The Wheeling Nailers sit second in their division with a 34-25-1-5 record, good for 74 points. They are 11 points behind the Reading Royals.

Wheeling has won six of its previous seven games. Eric Hartzell has been the winning goalie in four of those six victories. Hartzell has a 7-4-0-1 record, a 3.07 goals-against average (GAA) and a .902 save percentage. Mike Condon has been the main man between the pipes for the Nailers. In 35 games, he’s 19-12-0-4 with a 2.40 GAA and a .923 save percentage.

Zack Torquito has powered the Wheeling offense. He has 14 goals and a team-leading 38 assists and 52 points. Carter Rowney paces the Nailers in plus/minus at plus-23, while Patrick McGrath’s 167 penalty minutes top the team.

Cody Sylvester has a team-high 24 goals to go with 17 assists for 41 points. He’s a plus-17 and has a team-leading four shorthanded goals. The power-play scoring lead is held by Mike Ratchuk, who has six goals with the man advantage.

Among familiar faces from Mohegan Sun Arena, Dustin Stevenson has five goals and 16 assists in 50 games, while Tom Kuhnhackl has four goals and six assists in nine games.
