Meghan Williams and Greg Masters were united in marriage on June 24 at the Excellence Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. A beachfront ceremony was the setting for the union in front of close friends and family.

The bride is the daughter of Martin and Theresa Williams, Hughestown. She is the granddaughter of Martin and Ann Williams, Hughestown, and the late John and Jean McAndrew.

The groom is the son of Lori Masters and Jay Lefchak, Gouldsboro. He is the grandson of George and Arlene Lefchak, Kents Store, Va., and Pat and Joan Potts, Keller, Texas.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her best friend, Marena Piccillo, as her maid of honor. The groom chose his best friend, Sean Wooster, as his best man.

Following the beachfront ceremony, a cocktail hour and reception were held.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower in May given by her mother at the Radisson Hotel Lackawanna Station, Scranton.

The bride is a graduate of Seton Catholic High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in health administration from East Stroudsburg University in 2006. She also earned her teaching certification in elementary education from King’s College in 2010. She is employed by Prince William County Schools as a first-grade teacher.

The groom is a graduate of Athens Area High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bloomsburg University in 2006. He also earned his master’s degree in instructional technology from Bloomsburg University in 2010. He is employed by Navy Federal Credit Union as an instructional designer.

A wedding celebration party will be held in their honor in August.

The couple resides in Woodbridge, Va.
