Dallas Rotary awards book scholarships

The Rotary Club of Dallas recently presented several area high school students who will be attending college in the fall with checks for $500 each to help offset the expense for books during their first semester. The club has awarded more than $75,000 in scholarships since the inception of the program. The scholarships were awarded at a recent dinner attended by scholarship recipients and their family members.
