Lynda Yong Mi Ciaruffoli and Nicholas Joseph Lang were united in the sacrament of marriage Oct. 20, 2012, at St. Peter's Cathedral, Belleville, Ill. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. James Deiters.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Yong Mi Ciaruffoli, Shavertown. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Martha Ciaruffoli, Larksville, and Kim Hyong Sun and the late Chi Hyong Ok, Inchon, Republic of Korea. She is the sister of Derek Ciaruffoli.
The groom is the son of Thomas and Cheryl Lang, Mascoutah, Ill. He is the grandson of Joseph Lang and the late Anne Lang and Gene Klingelhoefer and the late Joyce Klingelhoefer. He is the brother of Kara and Che' Lang.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her friend, Crystal Wolf, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Essenpreis, Katie Hoffmann, Kara Hund, Laura Miles, Che' Lang, Kara Lang and Megan Vonbokel.
The groom chose his friend, Brandien Robinson, as his best man. Groomsmen were Greg Chartrau, James Coleman, Chad Fournie, Jon Hall, Tim Sax, Eric Stein and John Wilkes.
Scriptural readings were given by Denise Castellani, aunt of the bride, and Carly Hoffman, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Mascoutah Community High School and a 2009 graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She is employed as a contracting officer by Scott AFB, Illinois, and is pursuing a Master of Arts degree in management and leadership from Webster University.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Mascoutah Community High School and a 2008 graduate of Ranken Technical College, with an associate degree in information technology. He is employed as a network engineer by World Wide Technology in St Louis, Mo.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They reside in O'Fallon, Ill., with their two cats, Riley and Tobey.
