PLAINS TWP. — With more than two decades in the casino industry, most recently as vice president of finance at Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge, La., Bradford Cobb has joined the executive team at Mohegan Sun Pocono in Plains Township as its new chief financial officer.

As CFO, Cobb will oversee the financial accounting, regulatory compliance, labor and productivity departments, plus budgets, analysis and much more.

“We’re thrilled to have Brad join our team at Mohegan Sun Pocono,” said Mohegan Sun Pocono President and CEO Anthony Carlucci. “He has a great deal of experience, leadership and talent shown throughout numerous high level roles in the casino and resort industry. We’re extremely happy to have him on board and can’t wait to start working together.”

Cobb started as an accountant for a Las Vegas-based casino and hotel in the mid-1990s. His career has taken him to Biloxi, Miss., where he was named casino assistant controller, and Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge, where he was first hired as financial controller, then elevated to vice president of finance in 2011.

Throughout his career, Cobb has administered and successfully executed various projects involved with player-rating systems and developing management teams, a press release says.

Cobb is a graduate of Bryant College in North Smithfield, Rhode Island, where he studied managerial accounting.

Mohegan Sun Pocono also filled another executive slot recently, naming Erica Tessier as vice president of marketing.
