Thomas Graber, Wyoming, was recently named controller. He will be primarily responsible for the professional management of daily financial operations and serve as the liaison with federal regulatory agencies and with the college’s certified public accountant. Graber holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King’s William G. McGowan School of Business and has experience providing auditing and tax services in the higher education and nonprofit industries.
The Scranton-based information and records management company recently appointed two vice presidents.
Brian Brady is vice president and chief financial officer. He has more than 22 years of experience in a variety of technology-related businesses and industries and holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Raju Gadiraju is vice president and chief information officer. Gadiraju joined Diversified with the acquisition of Active Data Services, where he held an executive position. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in computer science from Alabama A&M University.
Bridget E. Giunta was recently named associate director of alumni relations at the local university. The 2005 Wilkes graduate will be working closely with recent graduates to keep them connected to the Wilkes community. She will also be responsible for Connecting the Dots, a career exploration program for current students that she helped to develop as an alumni volunteer.
Roy F. Boyd was recently named chief financial officer for the organization, which includes Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Heritage House, Behavioral Health Services of Wyoming Valley and Wyoming Valley Academic Medicine. He will be responsible for the financial oversight of all Wyoming Valley Health Care System programs, services and operations. Boyd has more than 25 years of financial experience in the hospital and health system setting. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Moravian College, Bethlehem, and an MBA from Wilkes University.
Patrice Persico was recently named chairman of the board of directors. She is the director of the Family Business Forum at King’s College and is also a member of the board of directors of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce and Maternal and Family Health Services. In addition, she is chairperson of the Regional Advisory Committee for the Commonwealth Medical College.
John J. Serafin, of West Pittston, was recently appointed vice president of commercial lending. He will be responsible for developing and managing commercial relationships. Serafin has 18 years of banking experience and holds a master’s degree in business management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in finance from Wilkes University.
John J. McKenna, Mountain Top, was recently hired as an agent by the Scranton office of the company. He holds a degree in business administration from King’s College and has 37 years of experience in the financial services industry.
CareGivers America Home Health Services , Wilkes-Barre, was recently selected by Home Care Elite, TM as one of the “top home health agencies in the United States.” The award is based on public data and CMS reports judging companies based on three domains of performance: quality of care, quality improvement and financial performance.
