NANTICOKE – The attractive office at 75 Market St. is ready for a new tenant. Previously used by an eye surgeon, the 1,000 square feet is divided into a reception area, exam rooms and private offices. That kind of use is one of several the space could be adapted for, said Michael Kon of Realty World-Tom Hart, who has managed the building for about five years.
“It’s great for a doctor or dentist, or somebody could use if for some type of professional office” such as an attorney or accountant, he suggested.
A new tenant would join a strong mix of businesses that includes Citizens Bank, Deb’s Salon, a Medicine Shoppe pharmacy and the China House restaurant. A Curves women’s fitness center and an insurance office occupy spots in the rear.
“It’s right in front of the Weis Market, so there’s lots of traffic,” Kon said, along with good parking and high visibility.
While more than 50 years old, the building is equipped with all modern amenities, including central air conditioning, 200-399 amp power, emergency lighting and handicap features.
“We take good care of that property,” Kon said. The rent is $1,250 monthly, triple net.
