The President’s Education Awards were recently presented to fifth-grade students in the Greater Nanticoke Area Elementary School, Nanticoke. To qualify for the award, students had to maintain a 90 or higher average in fourth grade and the first semester of fifth grade and to score proficient or advanced in reading and math on the Grade 4 PSSA tests. Students received a certificate and a pin.
