Joseph Coyne, retired Wilkes-Barre police chief, presented a $1,000 donation to the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA for the 34th Annual Bernie’s Memorial 3- Mile Walk/Run to be held July 4 by AllOne Charities in Downtown Wilkes-Barre. The event benefits the Greater Carbondale, Greater Pittston, Greater Scranton, Wayne County and Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA’s. Bernie’s Run is in memory of Bernie Hargadon, a past YMCA director, prime athlete and originator of the race.
