The pre-kindergarten B class of St. Nicholas-St. Mary School in Wilkes-Barre recently celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day. The children listened to stories about Johnny Appleseed, watched a video about the life of Johnny Appleseed, colored and made hats like Johnny Appleseed’s pan hat, and got to taste different types of apples brought in by their teacher, Mrs. Martha Yanuzzi.
