The Nanticoke and Newport Fire Departments recently visited K.M. Smith School in the Greater Nanticoke Area School District where they discussed exit plans, smoke alarms, crawling through smoke, 911 and ‘stop, drop, and roll.’ Students also visited the ‘Smokehouse’ and met Ash, the fire dog.
