The Edwardsville Hometown Committee recently held its Annual Pumpkin Play Day for the children of Edwardsville. The event featured free pumpkins, games and prizes, Balloons by Jubilee, a petting zoo by Endless Dreams Animals and a costume parade. Proceeds will benefit care packages for the military. The committee has also been involved with a spay/neuter program for stray cats and will serve refreshments during the Nov. 19 holiday parade as well as decorate the borough building for the holiday season.
