MMI Preparatory School students Fredrick Mejia of West Hazleton, Alexander Sessock of Freeland, Zachary Young of Freeland, and Aaron Harman of Drums placed fourth as a team in the Brain Teasers event during the annual Bloomsburg University Math Contest. Susan Moyer, MMI math instructor and department chair, was the adviser for the competition. More than 300 students representing 24 high schools from across Northeast Pennsylvania competed in the all-day contest, which included aspects of geometry, trigonometry, algebra, logic and statistics.
