Spaghetti dinners, at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 905 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. 4 to 6 p.m. each Thursday in the church hall. $8, includes salad, pasta dinner, bread, dessert and beverage. Choice of six pastas and five sauces. Ample parking. 570-823-6692. Spaghetti dinners run through May and possibly into the first week of June. Dinners will not be offered on Dec. 28 and Jan. 4.

Soup for the Souls, will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 11 at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, 420 Main Road, in the Buttonwood section of Hanover Township. The soup of the month will be clam chowder. The cost for an order of soup is $8. Preorders are appreciated. For more information, call 570-825-6370.

All-you-can-eat Breakfast, will take place from 7 to 11 a.m. Jan. 20 at Sylvania Lodge #354, 429 Trailing Pine Road, Shickshinny. The breakfast will include scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, scrapple, ham, home fries, homemade biscuits, white or rye toast with chipped beef, sausage gravies and homemade sticky buns. $9.50 for adults; $4.50 for children 6 to 12; free for children under 6. Take-out is available at 570-542-2562.

Meatloaf dinner, will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. April 29 at St. Martin in the Fields, the little stone church at the corner of Nuangola and Church roads in Mountain Top. The meal costs $10 for ages 12 and older and $5 for ages 5 to 11, and those younger than 5 are admitted free. Welsh cookies will also be available for purchase.
