Boscov’s holding Friends Helping Friends Day

WILKES-BARRE: Boscov’s department stores will conduct Friends Helping Friends Day, a community-wide fundraising event on Oct. 6.

The event will include an exclusive 25 percent off discount shopping pass, refreshments, prizes and a chance for shoppers to support local non-profit organizations.

As a thank-you to anyone who participates, Boscov’s will provide a chance to win one of several grand prizes including a flat screen television, diamond pendant, $500 shopping spree and more.

Boscov’s will provide nonprofit organizations with shopping passes to the event that they can sell for $5 each. Participating charities will keep all proceeds from passes sold. All Friends Helping Friends passes can be used at any Boscov’s location.
