A Bowl-A-Thon in support of National Epilepsy Awareness Month in November will be sponsored by volunteers of the local Northeast Region Support Group from 3-5 p.m. Nov. 8 at Chacko’s Family Bowling, 195 N. Wilkes-Barre Blvd., Wilkes-Barre. The event, ‘Help Strike Out Epilepsy,’ will support educational programs, support services and materials for people with epilepsy and their families in Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wayne, Wyoming, Susquehanna, and Pike counties. Cost is $15 for bowling, shoes, refreshments, and prizes.
