The Board of Trustees of Central United Methodist Church, 65 Academy St., Wilkes-Barre, will sponsor a chicken barbecue from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday with takeouts available. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 12 years and younger. Reservations and tickets are available by calling the church office at 822-7246 or at the door.
