Committee formed and fall festival scheduled in Newport Township

The Newport Township Community Organization has formed its sixth annual 2009 Fall Festival Committee and has scheduled the event on the second Saturday in October at the Holy Child picnic grounds to the rear of St. Stanislaus in Sheatown from 1 1 a.m.-5 p.m. Crafters, music, hay rides, a moon walk, petting zoo, a chili contest, and more are planned. Members of the committee from left: Tom Kashatus, Paul Jarecki, Heidi Selecky, John Jarecki, Carolyn Phillips, Steve Masakowski, Melissa Bova, Palmira Gregory Miller, Pat Bova, and Mike Chepolis.
