Dietrich will offer run of ‘Our Town’

TUNKHANNOCK: The Wyoming County Cultural Center at the Dietrich Theater, the Tunkhannock Public Library and the Electric Theatre Company will produce the Thornton Wilder play “Our Town” at the Dietrich March 4-8 in conjunction with Wyoming County Reads.

The five-day run will be produced as a tribute to the late actor Paul Newman. The production has received partial funding from the Newman’s Own Foundation.

Auditions will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Dietrich Theater only by appointment. Call 996-1500. Sides are available online at www.electrictheatre.org; click Now Playing, then Auditions. Rehearsals are Feb. 2-March 3 in Tunkhannock and Scranton.
