Eynon resident wins Pittston car raffle

The winner of the 2008 Auto Raffle at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Pittston, is David Benson of Eynon, who opted for the $20,000 cash prize. The seller of the winning ticket was Jim Dillon of Pittston. A 2009 Chevrolet Mailbu from Ken Pollock Chevrolet, Inc. Pittston, will be raffled at the conclusion of the Parish Picnic on July 13. Tickets are available now at Lombardo Quik N-E-Z and Gino’s Tires in Yatesville; Lispi’s Diner, State Route 315, Plains Township; Pittston Candy, Broad Street, Pittston; Petro’s Hardware, Jenkins Township; Plaza Beverage, Pittston By-Pass; Nardone’s Restaurant, West Pittston; or at the church rectory by calling 654-6902 or Connie Toole, 655-3681, Frank Sciabacucchi, 655-6125.
