Golden Living residents, families and staff take steps to ‘Walking Your Age’

Golden Living Center Summit celebrated Active Aging Week by ‘Walking Your Age,’ a week-long event. Residents, staff and family members walked the number of steps that equaled the year they were born. For example, anyone born in 1938 was encouraged to walk 1,938 steps. Program participants, first row, are Helen Wolverton; Heather Fassett, activities director; Robert Febish; and Thomas Jantz. Second row: Pauline Nowinski, William Sunday, Mary Czuprewicz, Regina Koshinski, Mary McDermott and Ann Plevel. Third row: Jennie Larson; Donna Kaufer, admissions director; Pat Girmen, community coordinator; Joe Janusziewicz; Molly Walsh; and Pam Smith, staff development.
