Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Conference

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Intergenerational Coalition will sponsor its 3rd Annual Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Conference from 7:45 a.m.-3 p.m. May 8 at Genetti Hotel and Convention Center, East Market Street, in Wilkes-Barre. The theme is ‘Raising Our Grandchildren: Empowering the Intergenerational Family’ and is co-sponsored by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Intergenerational Coalition and the Office of Senator Raphael Musto. Admission is free. A variety of health and safety tips, programs, support groups, government resources and nonprofit services will be provided by presenters and panelists from across the state.
