Harveys Lake Protective Association dedicates flagpole in honor of Harold Ney

The Harveys Lake Protective Association has dedicated a flagpole with a plaque on the center traffic island at the lake in honor of the late Harold Ney, who was instrumental in getting the flagpole erected. State Sen. Karen Boback, R-Harveys Lake, joined members of Ney’s family and members of HLPA for the dedication. At the ceremony on the left are John Halbing, HLPA vice president; Mark Sobeck, past president; Frank Koneski; Joe Grablick; John Brokenshire; Judy Ney Brokenshire; Rose Caffrey; Bryan Brokenshire; Nathan Caffrey; and James Brokenshire. On the right: Jessica Grablick with Christopher and Matthew, Frank Aritz Jr., Boback, Frank Aritz, Jane Ney Aritz, David Grablickin, Meg Grablick, Ben Yatko, Lori Ney Grablick, Bob Vanderhook, HLPA past president, Nancy Wolfe, secretary/treasurer, and Dave Hoffman, president.
