Heinz Rehab Hospital employees raise funds for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

Employees of Heinz Rehab Hospital in Wilkes-Barre recently held a bake sale, basket raffle and dress-down day to raise funds for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Luzerne County. They raised $600 that day and an additional $600 in donations from employees, friends and families, for a total of $1,200. The money was used to purchase 18 Kuranda beds for the dogs and $200 worth of cat food.
