Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Young, Harveys Lake, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay, to Jacob Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson, Jackson.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Daniel R. Warner, Harveys Lake; the late Lois Warner; and the late Martha and Charles Young.

She is a 2001 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School; a 2005 graduate of Marywood University, Scranton, with a Bachelor of Science degree; and a 2007 graduate of Marywood University, with a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology. She is employed as a speech pathologist in the Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit 19.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Joseph and Jeanine Swistro and the late Dwane and Marion Johnson. He is a 2001 graduate of Mountain View High School and a 2006 graduate of Marywood University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. He is employed as a high school mathematics teacher in the Susquehanna Community School District.

The couple will marry Aug. 7 at Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake.
