The Luzerne County Community College Literary Arts Society recently presented a check for $500 to the Hoyt Library in Kingston. The money was raised through a spring raffle which is held annually by the Literary Arts Society. Proceeds are donated to organizations that are involved with literature and the arts. The LCCC Literary Arts Society and Sigma Kappa Delta, the English Honor Society, obtained various prizes for the raffle.
