Students in the phlebotomy technician training program at Luzerne County Community College recently completed their training. The comprehensive 140-hour program is designed to prepare the student for a full-time or part-time career in the phlebotomy field. The program consists of a 100-hour classroom component and a 40-hour supervised internship at a local clinical site. Students successfully completing the program will be equipped with the necessary skills to handle all areas related to drawing blood.
