The Luzerne-Wyoming Counties Mental Health/Mental Retardation Program, together with the Intellectual Disabilities Training Council, recently held training on the prevention, detection and treatment of H1N1 swine flu virus. The training was facilitated by Dr. Sharon Falzone, Director of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Care Quality Unit, a component of The Advocacy Alliance; representatives of the Luzerne County 91 1 Communication Center; and the Luzerne County Emergency Management Agency.
