Misericordia University recognized the academic accomplishments of students who completed the University Honors program at the Honors Award Banquet at the Banks Student Life Center. Mackenzie Cassidy, Newton, N.J..; Steven Hannis, Mountain Top; Elisa Kennedy, Bensalem; Alyson Neely, Pymouth; Kelli Ann Prokop, Towaco, N.J.; Ashley Rosenbaum, Forty Fort; Toby L. Soward, Scranton; and Elizabeth Sysko, Forty Fort, each received a gold stole to wear at the 83rd annual commencement ceremony and a silver and gold keychain in commemoration of completing the program. The University Honors program requires students to participate in honors sections of their core courses and in Honors Exploration Seminars, complete an Honors Capstone project, and achieve a grade-point average above 3.25.
