Mountain View marks anniversary of Church of the Nazarene

WYOMING: On Oct. 5, Mountain View Church of the Nazarene, 1150 Wyoming Ave., will join 18,000 other Nazarene churches in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Church of the Nazarene. The anniversary celebration at Mountain View Church will begin at 9 a.m. The Rev. Scott Miller, pastor, invites the community to attend.

Preparations for the day began in 2004 so that the 1.6 million members of the church will hear the same sermon, celebrate with the same music, and participate in the same readings across 24 time zones on the same day.
