KINGSTON: The Kingston Senior Citizen Center, 680 Wyoming Ave., will host a representative from the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute at 10:45 a.m. today for a presentation on breast cancer.
Little Flower Manor will provide information on osteoporosis at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. The annual Thanksgiving Special Dinner will be served Thursday. Birthdays of the Month will be celebrated Friday.

KINGSTON: Wilkes-Barre Chapter 342 of National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will meet at 1 p.m. Friday at Black Diamond American Legion, 386 Wyoming Ave.
Reservations for the Christmas luncheon scheduled Dec. 8 at A Touch of Class at the Palace will be accepted.

MOUNTAIN TOP: The next meeting for the Mountain Top Social Club is Nov. 24 in the Father Nolan Hall Day Room at the St. Jude’s Church. Doors will open at 3:15 p.m. Anyone 50 and older can join. PITTSTON: The Pittston Senior Center, 441 N. Main St., will serve a special Thanksgiving dinner and program at noon Thursday. Reservations must be made by Wednesday.
A free computer class is planned from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday. Computer basics, e-mail and the Internet will be covered. Space is limited and reservations are required.
Tickets are on sale for the Christmas party scheduled from noon-5 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the Jenkins Township Social Hall. Cost is $23. GTO will provide music.

PLYMOUTH: The Senior Citizen Friendship Club will meet at 1 p.m. Monday in the handicapped accessible Holy Child School Building, Willow Street.

Members of the Christmas Party Committee are taking reservations for the Christmas party scheduled Dec. 6 at Konafel’s in Edwardsville. The committee is comprised of Rosemary Piston, Dolores Prutzman, Matilda Raklewicz, Leona Roskowski, Florence Rother and Frank Shall.
Georgetta Potoski was recently welcomed into the club and 50/50 winners were Leona Roskowski, Phyllis Stock and Phyllis Saluski.

SWOYERSVILLE: Swoyersville Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Church Hall, Hughes Street. Liz Zdancewicz will preside. The Christmas party will take place Dec. 10 at the Knights of Columbus Council Home in Luzerne.
Recent 50-50 raffle winners were Marie Urban, Edith Jones, Lorraine Stebgen and Josephine Wozniak.

WILKES-BARRE: The Osterhout Free Library, South Franklin Street, has been awarded a $4,000 Senior Spaces Grant to enhance services and programs for older adults within the facility. Plans are being developed to create a separate but integrated space on the first floor where older adults can meet and comfortably access information.
Allan Kleiman, a nationally known expert on library services to baby boomers and older adults, will be the Senior Spaces consultant for this project. Elaine Stefanko, coordinator of information services, is spearheading the initiative and prepared the award application. Rose Cichy has been appointed Senior Services librarian.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for April 11 during National Library Week.
WILKES-BARRE: The Charles T. Adams Senior Center, 5 E. Market St., will offer a tai chi class at 10:30 a.m. today. Lillian Burnette will present a program on nutrition at 10:30 a.m.
The Healthy Steps program is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. A chair exercise class starts at 11:45 a.m. Dr. Joseph Leonarde will speak at 11 a.m. Thursday. WYOMING: The Wyoming, West Wyoming Seniors convene at 1:30 p.m. today in the meeting hall at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with parking for the handicapped available. President Frank Perfinski will preside. Servers are Irene Seneski, Angie Matruzzo and Maryanne Paluck. Bingo will be played and refreshments served.
The annual Christmas dinner will take place at 1 p.m. Dec. 1 with K&L catering the meal. All payments must be made at this meeting. Guests are invited.
Recent raffle winners were Alice Daniels, Nancy Marcy, Ann Kosloski and Dora Kraynak. The winner of the jackpot was Dora Kraynak. November birthdays were acknowledged for Marie Matina, Paul Piccillo, Helen Ostrowski, Marie Schwiger and Charmaine Potenza. The club also welcomed new member Joseph Zekoski.
