Northwest Area prepares for homecoming festivities

Northwest Area will celebrate homecoming on Oct. 17. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. at Lewis and Miller Memorial Stadium with the introduction of the senior members of the fall sports and band members and their parents, followed by the presentation of the Homecoming Court and the crowning of the king and queen. The festivities are sponsored by the student council under the direction of Cindy Jerrytone and Joseph Rasmus. Kickoff for the game on Friday against Holy Redeemer will be at 7 p.m. The band and cheerleader alumni will hold their annual homecoming reunion and will perform at the game along with the present students.
