Coughlin High School

Class of 1969 is planning a class reunion for Nov. 28. A committee meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 at Beer Boys, 176 N. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre. The event is posted on classmates.com. Classmates can also update information about themselves on this site.

Class of 1979 reunion planning meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 9 at Patte’s Sports Bar. All are welcome to assist in planning the reunion to be held Aug. 8 at the Checkerboard Inn, Trucksville. To provide addresses or request information, e-mail Coughlin79@aol.com.

GAR Memorial High School

Class of 1951 will meet for a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Perugino’s Restaurant, 258 Charles St., Luzerne. All classmates, spouses and friends are invited. Call Gil at 824-9425 or Marilyn at 288-3102.

Nanticoke High School

Classes of 1971, 1972 and 1973 will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Parkway Inn, Alden.

Plains High School

Class of 1960 will meet at 7 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the Plains American Legion, East Carey Street, Plains Township. Plans are being made for the 50th reunion and all classmates are invited to attend.

Sacred Heart and Plains Memorial High School

Classes of 1956 will continue to meet at 1 1:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at Andy’s Diner, North River Street, Plains Township. Lunch will be served from the menu at noon. Plans are being made for the annual class reunion to be held in August. All classmates are urged to attend with suggestions for another successful event.
