Reunions

Class of 1984 will celebrate its 25th reunion on Oct. 10 at Bentley’s Restaurant, state Route 309, Ashley. All classmates are asked to provide phone numbers and mailing and e-mail addresses to hoban84@ptd.net. The committee asks family members of classmates to pass along this announcement.

Coughlin High School

Class of 1948 will meet for a Dutch-treat luncheon at noon on Wednesday at the East Mountain Inn, state Route 1 15, Plains Township. For reservations call Janet Kosek, 822-3696, Dorothy Petroski, 824-7128, or Marie Merritt, 824-6476. All classmates are invited.

Kingston High School

Class of 1959 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Norm’s Pizza, North Sherman Street, Wilkes-Barre. All classmates are invited. Plans for the 50th class reunion on Aug. 29 at the Fairfield Inn-TGI Friday Complex will be discussed.

Lake-Lehman High School

Class of 1989 will gather for a 20th reunion on Nov. 27 at Irem Temple Country Club. Classmates are asked to e-mail their contact information, even if not attending the reunion, to LLHS1989@frontier.com. Contact Renee Hillman Raspen at 477-3077 for further information.

Larksville High School

Class of 1959 and 1960 will meet at 7 p.m. July 16 at Happy Pizza, 40 W. Main St., Plymouth. The reunion will be held Aug. 8 at Larksville American Legion. Anyone not contacted and interested in attending can call Bob Woodich, 288-8558, or Irene Sodak at 779-2640.

Nanticoke High School

Class of 1949 will have its 60th anniversary reunion at 6 p.m. Aug. 30 at American Legion Post 350, 21-23 W. Broad St., Nanticoke. A social to renew old friendships will take place at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 at the Post 350 home. Any classmate that has not received an invitation is asked to contact Norma Evans at 678-3181.

Moosic High School

All-Class Reunion is planned Sept. 12 at John Hancock Memorial Lodge, Glendale. Graduates from the classes of 1922 to 1961 are invited. Cost is $25 per person and includes coffee and pastries at 10 a.m. and dinner at 1 p.m. Refreshments and snacks will be provided all day. Nanticoke-Newport High Schools

Class of 1969 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Larry’s Pizza, corner of Church and College streets. Plans for the 40th reunion will be finalized. The reunion will take place from noon-8 p.m. Aug. 15 at Knoefal’s Grove, Chase Road, Chase. Reservations and payment in full are due by July 25.
