EDWARDSVILLE: The Edwardsville Senior Center, 57 Russell St., will offer legal advice by attorney Beatrice Heveran at 12:15 p.m. today.
ManorCare will provide information on Adaptive Equipment at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
A Red Cross disaster program is planned at 12:15 p.m. Thursday. The commodity delivery and pickup will also take place.
Information on strokes will be offered at 12:15 p.m. Friday.

EXETER: The Golden Years Social and Travel Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. July 14 in St. Anthony’s Church Hall. Sam DeSalve will preside.
Bingo, pizza and homemade baked goods will be served. Bakers are Evelyn Naples, JoAnn Naples, Carmella Parente and Connie Parente.
The club meets on the second Tuesday of each month and new members are invited to join.
KINGSTON: Dr. Ralph Demario from Hospice of the Sacred Heart will be the guest speaker at 11 a.m. today at the Kingston Senior Citizen Center, 680 Wyoming Ave.
A “Get to Know You” game is planned at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Prizes and refreshments will be offered.
ManorCare will perform blood pressure checks at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The RSVP Volunteer program will present a Benefits Check-up Monday. Appointments can be made by calling 287-1102.
NANTICOKE: Dr. Liskov from Mercy Special Care will present a program on depression at 11 a.m. today at the Rose Tucker Center at Mercy in the Mercy Special Care Building, 128 W. Washington St.

PITTSTON: The Pittston Senior Center, 441 N. Main St., will have RSVP Ambassadors available from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. July 20 to inform seniors of federal, state and local programs.

PLYMOUTH: Shawnee Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Welsh Baptist Church, corner of Girard and Shawnee avenues. The executive board convenes at noon. Jerry Flynn will preside at each session. Bobby “Trumpeter” Schacht will present a program.
The picnic scheduled at the Checkerboard Inn has been canceled. Reservations for the trip to Ernhardt’s Theater on Aug. 18 will be accepted at the meeting.
WILKES-BARRE: St. Aloysius Senior Citizens will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lee Park Towers, Lee Park Avenue.
Refreshments will be served and games played. New members are invited.
WYOMING: The Wyoming, West Wyoming Seniors will meet at 1:30 p.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church hall with President Frank Perfinski presiding. Bakers are Irene Zelinski, Mary Stanton and Angie Zagursky. Parking is available and the hall is handicapped accessible.
The picnic will take place July 21 at Frances Slocum State Park. Food, dessert and watermelon will be served at noon. Ann and Dan Voitek are catering the affair.
Payment must be made at this meeting. Guests are also invited. Games will be played.
Recent raffle winners were George Yurek, Nancy Marcy and George Kraynak. Jackpot winners were Theresa Alexander and George Yurek.
