The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Plains Township has received donations of videocassette recorders, movie tapes, music CDs and books from the Student Action Committee of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce. Students from Hazleton Area High School, MMI Preparatory School and Weatherly Area High School collected the items for the veterans at VAMC.
