Swoyersville High School, Class of 1959, celebrated its 50th anniversary reunion on Oct. 16. A cocktail hour and dinner were held at the Appletree Terrace, Newberry Estates, Dallas. Music was provided by Sounds of Music. Welcome and invocation were given by vice president Andrew Kapral with a special remembrance for 12 deceased classmates. There were 29 classmates in attendance coming from California, Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Canada. A post reunion part was hosted by classmate William Coniglio on Oct. 17 at the Maltby Fire Hall, Swoyersville.
