Wellness Fair at Saxton draws hundreds

Hundreds of area residents attended a Community Health and Wellness Fair at the Thomas P. Saxton Medical Pavilion, Edwardsville, in recognition of National Diabetes Education Month. The weekend program hosted by Wyoming Valley Health Care System’s Diabetes Management & Nutrition Center, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital’s Heart and Vascular Institute and Stroke Center included health screenings, healthy recipes and food samplings, and a presentation by endocrinologist Dr. Michael Adler.
