Jenny Beach and Jeffrey Carlo, together with their families, announce their upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dennis Beach, Hobbie, and Patrick and Francine Toole, Wilkes-Barre. She is the granddaughter of Ronald and Dorothy Beach, Nescopeck; Christine Levan, Berwick; the late Frank Levan; and Judge Patrick and Betty Jane Toole, Wilkes-Barre.

The prospective groom is the son of Randal and Bonnie Carlo, Wilkes-Barre. He is the grandson of the late Anthony and Helen Carlo.

Jenny is a 1999 graduate of Berwick High School and a summa cum laude graduate of both Wilkes University and King’s College, where she earned her master’s degree.

Jeffrey is a 1998 graduate of Meyers High School and a 2002 graduate of Robert Morris University, Pittsburgh. They are both employed as high school English teachers for the Wilkes-Barre Area School District.

The couple will exchange vows on May 1 at St. Therese Church, Wilkes-Barre.

They will honeymoon in Dewey Beach, Del., and Aruba.
