DALLAS: Daddow-Isaacs Dallas American Legion Post 672 will conduct its annual Pearl Harbor Day Breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Post home, Route 415.

Special guest is Charles Neubert, an Army veteran and one of the last survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Neubert will offer comments about the attack on Dec. 7, 1941, when he was stationed at Fort Armstrong in Honolulu.

All Post members are urged to attend. Commander Joe Kelley will preside.

A free breakfast will be offered.

DALLAS: District 12 Sons of the American Legion will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 at Daddow-Isaacs Dallas American Legion Post 672, Route 415. All Squadrons are urged to send a representative. Commander David Weidner will preside.

HANOVER TWP.: AmVets Post 59 will conduct its final meeting of the year on Dec. 7 at the Post home, 578 Fellows Ave. Commander Bill Kettrick will begin the session at 7:30 p.m. The Home Association’s meeting will follow, led by John Weston, the newly elected president.

Gabe Metric, past president of the Home Association, was recently promoted to Home Association custodian for life.

“Sparkling Millie” and “Duchess Dortha 2 Die For” have prepared a special menu and refreshments that will be served after the meetings.

Memberships may be renewed at this time. Membership is open to all active-duty members of the Guard, Reserves and other branches of the military.

Women are invited to join the AmVets Ladies Auxiliary and men 18 years and older with a parent or grandparent who served in the military may join the Sons of AmVets.

HANOVER TWP.: The Auxiliary to AmVets Post 59 will convene at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Post home, 578 Fellows Ave., Breslau.

Betty Mussal will preside.

The Christmas party is scheduled at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Post home.

PLAINS TWP.: LANI Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6325 will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 at the Post home, 35-37 Cleveland St., Hudson.

All regular members are urged to attend.
