KINGSTON: The 2009 Wyoming Valley Veterans Day Parade kicks off at 2 p.m. Sunday at the corner of West Market Street and Rutter Avenue in Kingston. Assembly is at 1:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Honoring the Veterans of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.’ The parade marshal is Col. Charles Carpenter, and the reviewing officer is Capt. Anthony Batko. The reviewing stand will take place on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre with Capt. Robert Perino serving as the narrator. Capt. Jason Moore is the parade chairman. Here is the full parade lineup.
