I was laughing and crying at the same time,” said Meghan, whose parents, Neil and Mary Ellen Horn of Kingston, had arranged the old-time transportation as a surprise. • The gift seemed especially appropriate because, on the May 2007 day her fiance, Dan Upton from Bloomsburg, proposed in New York City’s Central Park, the couple had searched in vain for a carriage.
