Bohn, Rushton

Melia Rushton and Fred Bohn IV were united in marriage on Oct. 19, 2007, at a beach-front wedding at Breezes Resort in the Bahamas.

The bride is the daughter of William Rushton, Wilkes-Barre, and Lori Navarro, Portland, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Betty Rushton, Wilkes-Barre; the late Edward Rushton; Mary Sebia, Hazleton; and the late Dominick Sebia.

The groom is the son of Fred and Nancy Bohn, Wyoming. He is the grandson of Fred Bohn Jr., Wyoming; the late Audrey Bohn; Angeline Selenski, Exeter; and the late Leonard Selenski.

The bride chose Ashleigh Ruston, sister of the bride, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Fallon Acuff, sister of the bride; Melissa Bohn, sister of the groom; Alli Hester-Haddad and Jennifer Urbanski, friends of the bride.

The groom chose Matthew Bohn, brother of the groom, as his best man. Groomsmen were Evan Navarro, brother of the bride; David Hudzinski, Chris Pisanchyn and William Acuff, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the resort after the ceremony. An engagement party and shower were held at the groom’s parents’ home in celebration of the couple’s future wedding.

The couple took an extended honeymoon in the Bahamas. They reside in Pittston.
