Christopher J. Hughes is a lifelong resident of Scranton, PA, and returned to serve the community as editor of Go Lackawanna in July 2010. Hughes previously worked as the Times Leader's online editor beginning in July 2008 and as a reporter for The Abington Journal in Clarks Summit beginning in August 2005.

Hughes and his wife, Lyndsey, have a 7-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son. His family and the promise of important breaking news updates are the reasons he gets up every morning.
