Lauren Hochreiter and Michael Sgriccia engagement

Lauren Hochreiter and Michael Sgriccia, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rich and Diane Hochreiter, Mountain Top. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Lillian Hochreiter, Mountain Top; and Joseph and Laverne Schmid, Slocum.

She is a 2010 graduate of Crestwood High School, a 2014 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition, and a 2015 graduate of St. Louis University where she received her Master of Science degree in nutrition therapy. She is employed as a registered dietitian for Maybrook Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, in Altoona.

The prospective groom is the son of Thomas and Connie Sgriccia, Clymer. He is the grandson of Flory Stupic and the late Genevieve Stupic, and the late Joseph and Louise Sgriccia. He is a 2001 graduate of Penn’s Manor High School and 2007 graduate of Penn State University where he received Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in civil engineering. He is employed as a project manager for Alexander Building Construction Company of State College.

The couple resides in State College. A July 2017 wedding is planned.
