Megan C. Mooney and Eric J. Rogers, together with their families, are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Mary Mooney, West Wyoming. She is the granddaughter of Christine and the late John Anderson, Hughestown and the late John and Mary Mooney, Kingston.

The prospective groom is the son of Barry and Betsy Rogers, Kingston. He is the grandson of the late Joseph and Adele Rogers, of Kingston and the late James and Mary Mulvey, Wilkes-Barre.

Megan is a 2010 graduate of Wyoming Area High School and a 2015 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology. She was employed at UPS as a data analyst, but recently put her career on hold to stay home and raise the couple’s daughter.

Eric is a 2004 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and a 2008 graduate of Misericordia University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management. He is employed at Fortis Institute as a senior admissions representative.

Eric and Megan reside in West Wyoming together with their daughter, Madison Elizabeth (6 months), and two cats, Debora and Dexter.

The couple met while working in July 2012 at Murphy’s Pub, Swoyersville, and were engaged May 29, 2016. They will exchange vows with a reception to follow on Sept. 15, 2017 at The Barn at Glistening Pond, Falls.
