Palmaioli, Lahr announce their engagement

Jennifer Palmaioli and John Dennis Lahr, together with their families, are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jerry and Karen Palmaioli, of Plains Township. She is the granddaughter of the late Jerry and Florence Palmaioli, of Plains Township, and the late Joseph and Ruth Nalepa, of Wilkes-Barre.

The prospective groom is the son of Dennis and Norma Lahr, of Parsons. He is the grandson of Anna Lahr, of Parsons, and the late Maria Lourdes and Simeon Resides, of the Philippines.

Jennifer is a 2003 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School. She is a 2007 graduate of Wilkes University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and special education, and a 2010 grade of University of Scranton, where she earned her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. Jennifer is employed by Wyoming Valley West School District as a kindergarten teacher.

John is a 2002 graduate of Coughlin High School. John has been successfully managing local restaurants for 10 years. Currently, John is the general manager of Kevin’s Bar and Restaurant in Kingston.

Jennifer and John reside in Kingston with their dog, Ginger.

The couple will exchange vows in June of 2018 at the Westmoreland Club, Wilkes-Barre.
