Area native’s documentary part of P.O.V. series airing July 14 on WVIA

A new documentary, “The Reckoning: The Battle for the International Criminal Court,” by Scranton native Pamela Yates will debut 10 p.m. July 14 on WVIA-TV Channel 44.

The film, airing as part of the PBS “P.O.V.” series, follows ICC prosecutors investigating crimes against humanity in Uganda, Congo, Colombia and Sudan, according to a news release.

Yates, director of the documentary, is the co-founder (with Peter Kinoy, editor) of Skylight Pictures, Inc. Paco de Onis serves as the producer.
