WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP — World Wrestling Entertainment’s Smackdown Live is coming to the Mohegan Sun Arena Nov. 15, and fans can enter to win free suite tickets with a donation to the Gino J. Merle Veterans’ Center.

From 9 a.m. Nov. 7 through 5 p.m. Nov. 11, fans who donate an item on the center’s wish list will be entered to win 12 suite tickets to the live event and a meet-and-greet with a WWE superstar. Items can be dropped off at any time at the Merli Veterans’ Center’s 401 Penn Ave., Scranton location, or at the arena’s 255 Highland Park Boulevard, Wilkes-Barre Township box office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The center’s wish list includes men’s and women’s sweatpants and sweatshirts, pajamas, diabetic socks, closed-back slippers, sneakers with Velcro straps, white or color shirts and cardigan sweaters. Personal comfort items like electric razors, clothes hampers, watches with big numbers and neck pillows are also accepted, as well as recreational items like MP3 players, stuffed animals, craft kits and gift cards to local restaurants or events.

The Nov. 15 episode of Smackdown Live will be the show’s 900th, and the celebration will include an appearance from WWE legend The Undertaker.
